UEDA

The Urban Economic Development Association of Wisconsin (UEDA) has partnered with the City of Milwaukee to implemented the HUD Consolidated Planning process since 2019 as part of its technical assistance contract.

UEDA is a 501(c)(3) membership association that facilitates effective, cross-sector collaboration, meaningful connections, and strengthenss capacity in Wisconsin’s community and economic development sector. We focus on and advocate for community investment, affordable housing, financial empowerment, small business growth, and regional transportation.

Our programs include Membership engagement, Bank On Greater Milwaukee, Take Root Milwaukee, and Capacity Building. UEDA has served as a certified contractor for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development since 2001, providing technical assistance and capacity building to organizations. UEDA often serves as an intermediary convening stakeholders around specific issues such as small business support and eviction prevention, and events that focus on emerging topics in economic and community development.
